between 10am & 1pm Saturday 16th April when the GRAND RAFFLE will be drawn at a special COFFEE MORNING and EASTER FAIR (No entry charge)

Cafe: Bacon Butties, Scones etc.
Decorated or dyed EGG competitions: separate classes for adults, for children under 7 and under 14 years. Bring your eggs before 12 noon. Entry fee 50p per egg.
Gift stalls: All profit from these activities will go towards the Reading Room replacement heating system and refurbishments.

Village Quiz
This very popular fun event will be held on April 8th at 7.30. £5.00 per person, tables of 4. Pie and peas supper.
Heating Project
Thank you to everyone who took time to complete the survey form in the RR. The response rate was 43%. Most responses indicated that the RR needs to be warmer, suggestions being made were; to turn the heating on early before an event or activity, more insulation, e.g. under the floor in the main hall, a redecoration. Many respondents commented on the shabby appearance of the entrance and suggested sprucing this area up with new floor covering and repainting. The Committee is delighted to report that the project fund has been boosted by a grant of £1,500 from Northumberland County Council.
